I signed up for one of their offers — 2 bags of the coffee of your choice, plus two lovely stainless steel travel mugs.   I was thinking .. … ‘how nice to get delicious coffee delivered to my home !’   NOT !!

First off,  the coffee came — Brazilian Santos and Colombian.  I figured, these are relatively safe styles of coffee, medium roasts.  NOT !!!   They tasted weak, and watered down, even though I brewed it a little stronger than they suggested — still … rather weak.

I was still not too terribly upset because —  I figured I could always go on their website, log into my account and change the order for next month, right?   NOT !!!!

So, I call their toll free number – but they are not available.   I’ll  have to wait til today, Monday to call.  In the meantime, I took a look  in my online bank account access …. HOLY COW !!!   Seattle Coffee Direct had deducted FIVE unauthorized shipments of the same crappy coffee, the same crappy coffee that their website would not allow me to access to change.  PLUS,   This amounts to almost $200 in crappy coffee !!!! 

This happened over the course of ONE WEEK  Coffee came this past Tuesday!.

OK … this story gets EVEN better.  I waited till around 11 am Eastern time to call them — their website says they open at 10 am Eastern.  Fine.  A male voice answers on the first ring.  Ahh …. a live person !  YAY !!!     NOT !!!!

Mr. Customer Service rep ‘completely understood’ my situation (He Did ??) and said he changed the password on my account so I could now access it to change the ‘frequency’ of deliveries.

  “Wait”   I say …” I never authorized any additional deliveries – your website wouldn’t allow me to log in to make changes !!”

Mr. Customer Service Rep is well versed in how to handle customers, irate or otherwise.  At this point I was still Miss Nice Lady, not Miss Pissed Off Beyond Belief …. yet.

Mr. CSR tells me, “No problem, I’ve changed your password, go ahead and log in and change the frequency of your deliveries.  And, you can change the type of coffee you receive, as well.”  

“Great !”  I say .. “and, thank you very much.”

So, off I go to Seattle Coffee Direct’s website and guess what ???

I attempt to log in using my new handydandy password, and …. up pops a screen with teeny red letters that says ….. “This account is no longer active.”

WTF ???  No Longer Active ?  Huh???

Back to their convenient toll free number .. again, the phone is answered on the first ring. This time, I get  “Mark” on the line.

I ‘splains to Mark .. and he advises …. “The customer service rep you spoke to cancelled your account.”

“Why?” I ask …

“Because you were not happy with the service.”

“No ….” I say.  “I was not happy with $200 being deducted from my account without my authorization for  coffee that was inferior.”  

Guess that was the wrong thing to say, because “Mark” because defensive and told me I could return the packages of coffee that were sent out (one every day?) and it would take 14 days for my refund.

I became defensive too … because first of all, the offer I signed up under was a “Trial” membership that said cofee shipments would come out every 4 – 5 WEEKS, not every day or every other day.    And, I was not allowed access to the account to change anything.  I demanded to speak to their supervisor, who .. conveniently was “NOT AVAILABLE.”

I asked the Supervisor’s name .. and was told “ Beverly.”   

 ”Well then, how can I get in touch with Beverly?”  I ask. 

And, I receive this crytpic response.  “She is not available.”

“When will she be available?”

“She is not available”

“Yes, I know this, but how can I reach Beverly?”

“She is not available.”

“When should I call back?”

“Give me your phone number and I will have her return your call.”

“Uh no thank you, just tell me when I can reach her.”

“She is not available.”

After playing this game for a few moments, I realize that Seattle Coffee Direct has thoroughly schooled their employees in the fraudulent art of  “take the money and run”, “Move on to the next bank account” and to never directly respond to an unsatisfied  customer. 

I called to get access to my log in and thought I was given a new pass word.  Instead, they cancelled my account AFTER deducting $200 for crappy coffee that I did not order. 

I have no way of checking what the terms were of the offer I signed up for because I cannot access the account.  I know that I saw delivery every 4 – 5 weeks, not days, but since I could not get any satisfaction from the customer service representatives or speak with a supervisor, I am left out in the cold with both crappy coffee and minus $200 in my account!

This is a total and complete rip off.  DO NOT sign up for their great offers of ‘delicious micro roast coffee from around the world”, as the coffee is not good at all and the service?  Absolutely deplorable !!!

Believe me, I’ll stick with good ol’ Maxwell House or Eight O’Clock that I can pick up at the grocery store and that won’t cost me $18 for 12 ounces plus shipping.

My next stop?  The Better Business Bureau to file a well deserved complaint on Seattle Coffee Direct.  This is true, folks …. I’ve got nothing to hide, but .. Seattle Coffee Direct evidently has a LOT to hide.  Don’t buy into this!~

“F” to the “R” to the “E” to the “E” …..

Or .. the cute guy who is ‘dressed up  like a pirate’ in a restaurant playing a guitar to a bunch of senior citizens chowing down ?

Or .. how about the same cutie-patootie riding a bicycle, or with his posse in an old jalopy … take your pick of commercials.  They are all well presented with catchy songs that stay in your head long after the commercial is over.  Which is exactly what Free Credit Report Dot Com wants to do.   Boy, they sure do it well and I have no doubt that they have earned a LOT of dough from their allegedly ‘FREE’ credit reports. 

This is the biggest bunch of bullcrapola — Don’t believe it for a second.  Their services are anything but free.  They charge you $15 a month, and what’s worse is that their email gets filtered out by spam controls — what does that tell you?

I’m thinking that poor kiddo in the commercials is so down on his luck because FreeCreditReport.com has been deducting fifteen bucks off his debit card on a monthly basis throwing his finances out of whack.   This is what really makes their pitch so insidious.  Besides the fact that they tell you its FREE, when the charge hits your checking account and you call to question, they treat you like YOUR the cheapskate .. “ Its ‘ONLY’ $15 a month!!! ”  Well, when you play your finances close to the bone, like most of us are doing in today’s world …. that minus fifteen bucks can quickly turn into minus forty-five bucks after bank charges for insufficient funds.  No wonder little commercial boy is going ‘green’ .. he’s sick to his stomach!

Funny that in one of the commercials you see his ‘wife’ scooting around doing laundry, and there he is lamenting about how SHE ruined is credit …  OMG .. how do they get away with such blather?  Here they are, promoting that it is always somebody else’s fault ! 

Don’t do it.  Don’t believe one word that their Fifth Avenue advertisers put out there on the media – it is not true.   “FREE” does not exist on their website;  It is false advertising.  It is a lie.  They are NOT free …. And somebody, some governing body somewhere ought to make them remove the word FREE from their title because is it misleading and fraudulent. 

How about changing their name  to  RIP-OFF Credit Report dot com??    Ya know … “R” to the “I” to the “P” to the “O” to the “F” to the “F” .. .. la la la …..  No?  How about COSTLY CREDIT REPORT DOT COM ..   No?  Hmmm … How about … EXPENSIVE CREDIT REPORT DOT COM???  Hey, last I checked, these names are available and are certainly a dern sight more descriptive.

It is just a pitiful shame that today, with so many people worried about their finances as we, as a world, stand on the precipice of economic disaster, we have parasitic scumballs out there looking to get fat on the very folks who are carrying the hugest part of the burden any way.  So, let’s screw ‘em a little harder, eh?

Don’t fall prey to services that claim to protect your credit for FREE.    Rather, protect yourself by avoiding bloodsucking entities such as this one to get your finances straight.   And .. the three major credit reporting agencies will give you a free report if you write to them. You don’t need an independent middle man to do it for you — all you are doing is paying someone else money for something  that is already free that you can easily get on your own.

Want free advice?  I’ll give it to you … Avoid Free Credit Report Dot Com like you would Ebola .  There really are free services out there,  FreeCreditReport.com is NOT one of them.

Greetings Dear Ones …

It is common to say that we are all on different levels of our spiritual evolution.  In some spiritual organizations, our personal ascension is documented by initiations which keep us yearning and learning toward that next step ~~ something to look forward to, as it were.

Today’s Positive Affirmation is geared to help you rise to the next level of unfoldment at the speed that is perfect for you at this time and in this place.  This is not an intitiation in the physical, but more of an awareness on the inner, a personal gage as to where you are spiritually in the NOW.  Try it for a week and see if you are not more focused and clear in your spiritual goals.   Life is a wonderful process, dear ones.  Let us All, each one of us, approach our personal spirituality with a zest and joy once reserved for birthdays and holidays, because every day is a special opportunity to move forward toward the Creator Source, the All That Is.

Use these short affirmations throughout the day, or if you wish, you may repeat them as one paragraph.  I personally like to keep them short .. but please, use these affirmations in a way that suits your needs.

” I grant permission to the Universe to bring me to where I need to be in order to fulfill my spiritual goals.”

When you first begin to say your affirmations, you may find yourself simply repeating the words without much feeling.  This is fine.  Eventually, as you continue to speak your affirmations, you will begin to sense a commitment and conviction in each word.  Good for you!  Just remember that no matter how you say them, the HIgher Mind gets the message and processes the affirmation to manifest quietly into your physical life.  And… So It Is !
